(NONTHABURI, December 2022)—On December 5, 2022, Fortify Rights contributed to a training organized by HOST International for a group of 15 refugees, including 12 women, from Viet Nam and Cambodia. The one-day training focused on refugee rights and advocacy skills and included participatory activities and exercises to develop an understanding of the basic concepts of advocacy, identifying strategic targets, building knowledge on international and domestic laws that are relevant to refugees, and introducing examples of successful advocacy initiatives.

On November 24, 2022, Fortify Rights held a training on domestic violence issues for this same group of refugees. These trainings are part of a series organized by HOST International to strengthen the knowledge and capacity of refugees in Thailand.
