(KUALA LUMPUR, February 27, 2024)- Between February 27 and 29, 2024, Fortify Rights exhibited selected photographs from the A Chance to Breathe photography book by Fortify Rights Rohingya media fellows during the World Stateless Conference 2024 in Kuala Lumpur. The photos depict life for Rohingya survivors of genocide in the refugee camps in Bangladesh.
More than 400 participants joined the event, including Malaysian ministers, foreign dignitaries, representatives of international organizations, civil society members and other human rights defenders.
The exhibition was well received, and a welcome artistic addition to the conference focused on statelessness around the world.
